The Costa Scaligera, the castles of the lake

The beauty of the landscape and the charm of history are best expressed in the castles of the Veneto Coast, where, in addition to the charming towns and the nature of the lake, the castles of the Scaliger period are the stars.

Learn more about the Costa Scaligera

The Venetian side of Lake Garda was one of the fulcrums of Scaliger supremacy and brings back its history through the remains of various fortresses and castles that follow the lake shore. One of the best preserved examples can be found in the castle of Lazise and in the tower present in Torri del Benaco, where weddings are often celebrated.

Another focal point of the Veneto shore, are the farms and wineries that characterize and enrich it.
